About

I am a Software Engineer at IBM who proudly slings PHP and JavaScript, along with some SQL when needed. I taught myself how to program 5 years ago and have risen to great heights along my journey thus far. I'm living my wildest dream and sometimes have to remind myself that it's all real.

I am an avid gamer who loves both vintage and modern video games as well as tabletop games and card games. I also have an extremely eclectic taste in music, as evidenced by my love for everything from death metal to worship music. I'm also a bit of an audiophile who enjoys experimenting with vintage and modern sound gear in an endless search for the "right" audio fidelity and quality. I also get endless enjoyment from watching 80s action flicks, as well as westerns, christian-oriented cinema, and anything made by Quentin Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez.

My biggest hobbies outside of work include landscape and cityscape photography, which can be viewed at Ken Reynolds Photography, amateur weather forecasting, storm chasing, and amateur radio (call sign KF5WJC). I also greatly enjoys electronics projects of all kinds including Arduino, NodeBots, Raspberry Pi, as well as repairing broken electronic gadgets to squeeze more life out of them.

My insatiable appetite for tech and adventure is matched only by my appetite for pizza, beer, and whiskey.
